New Venture Products was started in 1998 to supply anti slip, waterproofing and anti climb paints to the trade, industry and general public. Principally we supply the Duram range of products, which stands out for their durability and range of applications., together with carefully sourced products from the UK. The range includes Protectakote, Protectakote UVR, Metcote, Duraprime, Omniicote, Anti-Climb Paint and general purpose anti-slip floor paints 

Our main product is Protecta-Kote which is also sold as Herculiner and Durabak in the USA. Protecta-Kote is a truly universal product with hundreds of applications from load bed liners for 4x4s, pickups, utility vehicles and vans to anti-slip, hard wearing surfaces for workshop floors, lorry tail lifts, boat decks, fire escapes, walkways, playground equipment to name but a few.

Protecta-Kote is a unique and advanced anti-slip polyurethane coating incorporating rubber granules. It was designed specifically for hard wearing automotive applications but has now been used extensively within marine, building and industrial environments. Anti-Slip Floor Paint is a general purpose hard wearing single pack polyurethane designed to seal and colour internal concrete and wooden floors. Ideal for garage and workshop floors etc etc. Roofix 20/10 is a single pack elastomeric acrylic based (non bitumastic) compound, providing excellent flexibility and durability. It is an easy way to waterproof and repair flat roofs, gutters, balconies, bay windows and any other external area that needs a tough, flexible waterproof coating. Anti-Climb Paint is a non-toxic, thick glutinous coating that in appearance is similar to smooth gloss paint just after its been applied, but it remains slippery indefinitely so preventing any intruder from gaining a foothold and permanently marking clothes etc.   Omnicote is an all in one rust converter, high adhesion primer and corrosion inhibitor that doesn't need overcoating. It is suitable for use on metal, plastic and even glass. It neutralises rust and forms a tough corrosion resistant coating that can even be over painted with solvent based paints if required. Protecta-Kote and its associated products have been developed by Duram in South Africa who have over 30 years experience in polyurethane coating technology, our other products are made and developed in the UK.
